Dolomites Travel Pictures

The Dolomite mountain region in North Italy has some amazing sights. Originally a part of Austria (South Tyrol), it came into Italian possession after WWI in 1919. The main features of this region are the stark mountains and cliffs, their bizarre forms and the absence of people.
