Maldives Underwater Pictures

Here are some underwater pictures of the Maldives. I DID see shark, large yellow-striped snapper schools, various Morays, a Dolphin underwater, a giant stingray, stonefish. I did NOT see mantas nor whale shark. The house riff of Velidhu was marvelous to snorkel as you could just drop off the pier and be in it: no boat ride required. I saw my first shark right there while snorkeling. Diving involves frequent currents (some strong ones too) which sometimes leades to drift diving. The coral doesn't match up to the Red Sea but the fish surpass it.

Clownfish above its Sea Anemone. I always thought Sea Anemones had stinging tentacles. The ones in the Maldives didn't sting when I gently touched one with my finger
